Tank replacement - 68 short step

Grandson just turned 15 so need to get busy on his trunk. Been sitting for about 6 years. Pulled fuel sending unit - rusted, so tank is toast. Have several spare tanks, but was wondering would it be better to maybe drop in a blazer tank under the bed instead. Pros? Cons? Best way to do the filler tube?

Re: Tank replacement - 68 short step

If you got the means and ability I say it's worth it to relocate.

Now a regular blazer tank might ride a little high so there will be some fab workit unbeliever that ther are some aftermarket tanks that are lower profile
