Oklahoma. New build 69 step short
Long time lurker but first time to post. I've owned this 69 step side for 4 or 5 yrs but didn't want to start on it until I had the TIME, the shop space, and a little money. I still don't have the money to build it in 8 months but hope to get going on it now that I have my shop built and my son is nearly 5 yrs old and will remember building it.
Originally a 6 cylinder 3 on tree but now has a 327 out of a school bus with 3 speed on floor. Rust on drip rail and some on floor. Hoping to find a clean AC cab. It's a manual brakes manual steering truck. I plan on an LSx FI build. Probably an LQ4/L92 heads or real similiar. 4L80e trans. Air ride maybe. I'm not against a nice static drop. I just want a nice street machine with AC and 400 to 500 hp that will cruise all day comfortably. |
