My 77' Custom 10 is now sitting pretty

Just had the 4/5 Drop installed and everything worked perfectly

Tire Size 235/75/15
Stock 6" Steelie rims
3 drop spindles front with 1 inch drop coils and drop shocks
Rear: Flip kit with drop shocks

I had doubt about the ride and hitting the control arms when dropping this truck, but a big thanks to those who responded to my questions posted here.

I picked her up really late, so I'll get some better pictures once I get a chance. I'm an RN so bare with me, I work graveyards and sleep throughout the day.

She is sitting very nice and the ride is still very comfortable, no bottoming out at all and no rubbing or hitting with turns.

Re: My 77' Custom 10 is now sitting pretty

love it, im hoping to build a street tuck soon. im working on a 79 k10 right now.

Looks good with the stock wheels.

Do you plan on changing the rear bumper to a sport bumper?

Your work as an RN is appreciated, my bother got hit by a car on his motorcycle and the folks in the trauma and ICU took good care of him. He is alive and recovering.

Yee Haw that looks perfect

Is that the original paint? That truck looks like it just came off the showroom floor...... Except for the stance!

That blue is timeless chevy

I like it!

Re: My 77' Custom 10 is now sitting pretty

Tom Martin, I appreciate the kind words. I love being and RN, it's always nice to help those in need. Good to hear your brother is recovering well! As for the bumper, I'm keeping her all original just as she is

50Seven: thanks again, she's a nice truck the pictures don't show some of the minor dings and scratches but overall it's a very nice Original Paint truck

Love the truck. If it were mine, the only other thing I would do is add 1" or 1.5" spacers to the rear wheels, to push them out a little and be more in line with the front. Other than that, I think its perfect.

Thanks guys

@BigBlock 73, I'm thinking i might add those 1" spacers to the back to even them out

I like the F/R track widths even but would accomplish it w/wider rear wheels vs spacers.

Nice OE looking truck & the drop looks great. Painted sport bumper gets my vote....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

I prefer wider wheels to do this too...but only if I need tires or rims though. Spacers are cheaper.

good call on the sport bumper...I agree.

One clean looking truck my friend. Just really clean looking. Love the 58 too. Wish my dad never got rid of his white 58 when I was growing up, or his 65. I agree with you, leave her as she sits and dont do a thing to the bumpers or anything else. Too cool!
