need help with an fittings for trans cooler
so heres the deal. i have a 700r4 with the cooling lines threads being a 1/2-18. my radiator that has the cooler built in has 1/2-13 threads. what an fittings an hose could i use to connect the two? i have little knowledge on an fittings so any help would be great! i always thought that an fittings had nc threads on them? or should i go a different route to hook up my cooler lines?

I would use the stock steel lines for your truck, they will need to be slightly tweeked at the trans. Then get an adaptor for the trans end fitting to trans. Most speed shops including summit and jegs have adaptors. You could use steel braided line and get the right connectors and adaptors for each end. Go to summit or jegs and start searching away or visit your local speed shop.

Are you sure? I have never seen different size fittings on those.
