please help. i cant find the location of the orifice tube
I have searched and read past threads but can't find any pics. I have an 88' 1 ton and I am going through the A/C system. I was told the orifice is in the low line of the evaporator where the connection is. I took apart the low line connection but it doesn't appear that its there??? Is there another connection I am missing?

Re: please help. i cant find the location of the orifice tube
I would need to look at my truck again. I'm not in front of it right now but if I remember right its in the lower A/C line coming from firewall. It is stuck inside the line. I can't even remember how I got it out??? I think I bent a very small 90 degree bend in a small rigid piece of wire and stuck it in there and hooked it and pulled it out.
