Gas cap
Short question: How go I get a beautiful new shiny gas cap?
Longer: I tried to polish it out, no dice. So maybe its chrome and not stainless, not sure. Anyone (a) know what they're made of, and (b) who sells a minty one? I can likely get this one replated, but sometimes if they're tack-welded together and so on (like a rad cap) you can't. Advice welcome!

Re: Gas cap
I'm still using the factory cap, it's stainless and I've polished it out, looks like chrome. A few years ago I bought a NOS cap, it's SS also, not quite as shiny but can be polished.
