Need Help With Some Bolt Sizes (67 C10) - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey Guys,

I am putting a bench seat back. I am not able to drive the truck to the hard wear store.

Does anyone know what size bolts I need to bolt the stock bench seat back in to the factory holes? Or can some one measure a bolt for me?

I think the bolts are 3/8" coarse thread. The standard bench seat requires 8 of them.

IIRC the 5/16-18 usage goes back into the 50s with only some change in length. But this thread should cover you back to 67 as well.

The seat belt bolts are a 7/16- 20 (fine thread)...not sure about the seat mounting bolts.
