3 knob vintage a/c controller
Can anyone please post a pic of the 3 knob set up on a sure fit kit? My truck has the factory economy heater and I want to run a pair of guages in the push/pull dash plate. I wonder how a 3 knob set up would look in a radio delete plate but good pics of the base level knobs from Vintage are hard to find. Thanks

Re: 3 knob vintage a/c controller
Here's a pic (hopefully you can see it) of how I did mine. I patched the ash tray and mounted the controls in that spot.

Re: 3 knob vintage a/c controller
Thanks all, that's exactly what I was looking for. I'm wondering, since there is no button to turn on the compressor, does it just cycle every time the blower is on? I mean, if its a nice day and you want to roll with the windows down or with the heat on, can you cruise without the compressor cycling under the hood?

Re: 3 knob vintage a/c controller
The compressor is controlled by the temperature control knob. To turn the a/c on turn the knob all the way clockwise then you can adjust the temp by going back counter clockwise. Turn it all the way counterclockwise to turn it off.

Re: 3 knob vintage a/c controller
Here's a couple more. I own a custom interior shop in Fort Worth and had my guys do this in about a day and a half so I could put the truck in Autorama this year. We still need to add arm rests to the doors, unfortunately the owners vehicles are always the last to get done.
