I have a question about sizes of wheels. I am building a 68 GMC Fleet Side, I am wanting to put 12 in. wide 20s on the rear. Can I do this without alot of modifing. This does have a leaf spring rearend. All comments greatly needed. Thanks SNOOP1

Welcome to the board.
I'll asume the truck is/wil be lowered, and probably slammed. While I am not positive, I'll say no. My rear rims are 15X10, and the rear tires have touched the wheel well a time or two when loaded down. (I resoved this with a 5 pound hammer to the tub...but I doubt you'd want to do this to your ride) The clearance on the outside of the tire is plenty, but I don't think it is enough for what you're looking at doing. |
