Quick u-joint question
What u-joint does the stock 12-bolt take? I had my driveshaft shortened and had new u-joints installed, but the guy put the wrong u-joint on. I'm guessing a '69 truck 12 bolt from a 1/2 ton would all have the same sized u-joint. Looks like it should be 3 5/8" wide? I'm talking at the pinion yoke where it attaches with the straps.
Thanks Al |

Re: Quick u-joint question
If it fits the driveshaft but not the flange you will probably need a conversion joint. It has different dimentions on each side.

Right. I need to know what the pinion side would be. 1330?

Most likely the pinion yoke is a 1310

Re: Quick u-joint question
Just measured the width and it's 3.625 or 3 5/8. Definitely a 1330. Not sure if that's standard for a 12-bolt, guess they could have either.
