Hello from eastern washington

Hey everyone, wanted to say a quick hello and introduce one of my new possible projects. I say possible because I'm unsure if I'm going to hang on to it. Picked up a 66 f250 and this 72 c10 from a family friend for the price of get them out of here.

The 72 has been sitting for about 15 years. Plan is to get it running and then decide from there. Need to drop the tank, clean it out, flush the fluids and do the brakes. If it's anything like the ford, new battery should get it going.

Re: Hello from eastern washington

Welcome... I am new here also.

That '72 was the last of that body style and I loved the two tone paint on them. My friend had the same color truck in the Cheynne (sp) as I recall..

I hired in at the plant that stamped all the body parts except the hood and two front fenders located in Indidanapolis IN. We also made all of the seat covers.

It was in this plant.... image circa 1976.

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
