79 Hurst Olds - My Other Project
Picked up this 79 T-Top Hurst back in the summer of 2009 from a salvage yard. She needed a complete resto and I've been doing that ever since the pick up. Frame off and put on a rotisserie at one point. Getting closer to completion now....yeah!

Love the white/gold. The grill on that year is perfect. Not gramma like some other years.
Looking good!

Re: 79 Hurst Olds - My Other Project
Thanks very much for the positive comments guys! When I started the resto I didn't think I'd be in it this long! But things cost money especially body & paint!! I've also found that you have to find parts for this car as there is no real aftermarket reproductions made say like a Mustang. But sometimes that's the fun of it....The hunt for something.

Re: 79 Hurst Olds - My Other Project
Looks great. The G bodies are becoming pretty popular. A buddy and I parted out quite a few Regals and Monte Carlos for a while. What used to be a parts car for a few hundred bucks has climbed in value lately. I would love to have an '83 H/O, but it doesn't look like it is in the cards anytime soon.
