Door Handles
I just found these on POL. They look great and seem like a fantastic price. Anyone have any?

Re: Door Handles
Those do look pretty slick. How's the finish? I hope you get the issue with it falling off figured out?
Is the post worn out? I imagine they have a set screw, Have you tried thread locker? or is it clip style?

Re: Door Handles
My door handles fall off all the time too but i think its cause i might be using 72 door handle mechanism, my handles used to not fall off but ever since i got new doors and unknown door mechanisms they will not seat in all the way unless i eather grind some metal off the shaft or ream the inside of the door handle.

Re: Door Handles
the handles are nice shiny, they seem to be sturdy and good quality. I had thought about using thread lock or hell, even jb weld but I am worried about ever having to take them off. god forbid i have to remove the door panel to fix something.

Re: Door Handles
That should be easy to fix. Grind a flat spot or a grove, use medium thread locker, and you are ready to go!

Re: Door Handles
I have the same handles for sell on Face book. Mine are the Chrome plastic ones though. Look just like these. I have a set of billet ones now in the 71 and the thread lock did the trick from them falling off.

Re: Door Handles
I also have them. they came on the green 69 I bought this spring. it's the first thing I removed, didn't like them, they came loose and just felt cheap to me. ended putting stock ones back on...
