need a template for VintageAir Gen4 mounting
Hey guys I know this has been asked several time but here we go again. Does anyone have a template for the VintageAir Gen 4 mounting on the firewall. I know it uses the factory mounting holes but while I,m doing the body work I want to fill all nonused holes. I also know my luck and Iwant to make sure I don't fill in the wrong ones. I do not have the system yet but will be buying it once the body work and paint are finished. Thanks for any help!

Re: need a template for VintageAir Gen4 mounting
Treetop, you must be a mind reader. I have been trying to find the same information, however, had not posted the question yet.
I contacted a local Vintage Air installer, but I understand they are so busy, I probably won't hear back too soon. My second thought was buying just the Heater Core Delete Panel from Vintage Air, and installing it, then taking measurements. That way I am sure to get the correct locations. Hopefully, someone will have the dimensions and locations. |

Re: need a template for VintageAir Gen4 mounting
I have seen other people in the past ask for this info but I figured instead of looking for it I would just ask. I have seen the block off plate used and the firewall smoothed over. I think the smoothed firewall looks cleaner and since my cab is bare metal now what a better time to fix it!
My nearest dealer tried to make me a copy of the template but the web site would not allow him to do so. I figure with as many guys using this system on here someone has it sitting on a shelf. Keep an eye out some one will post it I'm sure! Good luck with your project Zeroman!
