Do I need to take my bed off???

Do I have to take the bed of to check the ground wire for the sending units?I'm trying to figure out what is up with my fuel gauge. I've read some wonderful advice on here, just need some time to troubleshoot. Thanks!

You can just lower the tank if you want. The ground wire should be right there attached to the frame. I moved mine ground to the one of the bolts on the tank brackets.
