Re: Just thought i would share!
Right on! My truck was a 250/3-speed when I bought it, then went with a 350/350. Someday I hope to drop a mild 292 with a 5-speed into it.

Why did you swap back to the inline? I have an I6 too and wonder if it can tow a trailer and a '69 mustang. Is yours a 1/2 ton? Was the tow hitch recently installed? If so my '78 may actually have a chance! Lol.

Re: Just thought i would share!
Welcome to the I6 club. My 1990 Suburban also originally had a 350 in it.

Re: Just thought i would share!
i went back to the inline because it never gave me any problems like the 350 always did. it was always something with it, transmission or something in the motor. put the inline in and its been running strong, and its just a c10 half ton all stock, reese hitch was installed right before i got it, a few years ago, its the first time it ever pulled anything, it did great on flat land, but stopping it with no power brakes and going up hills was not something i would want to get used to, haha. i think your truck would be fine.

Re: Just thought i would share!
not really, i mean its not like 350s are hard to find if i wanted another one , and its not like you cant build the inlines to make more power. the only thing i miss is the sound of it haha.
