Just installed header buddies, sound like open headers.
I just spent all day fitting and welding my exhaust and when I started it up, it sounded like there was nothing behind the collector. The ball is fully seated in the collector. Has anyone ever had trouble with header buddies?

Sounds, no pun intended, like the ball and socket are not sealed. Can you feel any exhaust puffing out of that area? Where is your exhaust dumping? I'm using them and they sealed up very well with a little tinkering. Had to tighten and loosen them a few times to get a good seal.
