Removing cigarette lighter assembly?
Can someone tell me how to remove the cigarette lighter assembly in our trucks please! Is it a process like removing the ignition key and spacer, or is it just a twist and turn....Thanks!

I believe after you disconnect the wire for the back of it, the rear half unscrews from the front half. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on this.

Just reach underneath the dash and unscrew the sleeve on the back of the lighter and it will come out.

I stick my thumb into the lighter, (after unplugging the lead and removing the light) and reach around behinde it and twist it off.
