media blast

anyone have any good or bad expierence with media blasting ,does parts need to be rinsed after ward then primed with paint or coating while doing long restoration.will rust come back? will media blast destroy rust? any info will help

Mine works great. I try to clean as much junk off before I blast. [keeps the media clean] then a good cleaning with a no residue cleaner then prime and paint..
