My Christmas in Aug. Wheels!!
I've been looking for a set of 6 lug steel wheels for my '67. It currently has rusty chrome modular wheels that were on it when I got it.
Last week I talked to a guy at a car show that has a '67 also, but a long box. He's removing the cab and box for another project and wants to sell the rolling chassis. It sounds like I have him talked into trading his stock wheels, caps and whitewall tires for mine. Then today my buddy, that's been doing my mechanical work for me, calls and says he found 2 sets of wheels for me. One set of steel wheels and one set of rallys with rings and caps. I'm buying BOTH sets plus I'll get the others if the guy wants to trade. Question. Is there a center cap that fits the rallys that covers the lugnuts? Here's a pic of my ride as it sits now.

Re: My Christmas in Aug. Wheels!!
The 69 and 70 models I've had in the past I used the 4x4 rally's from the 73 to 87 chevy pickups. I found 2 extra center caps without the center cut outs for the locking hubs.

Re: My Christmas in Aug. Wheels!!
There's no dog dish caps that for any of the truck rally wheels. However there are some people (not sure who or who sells them, just seen random truck pictures with them) that make or bought these plates that mount to the wheel around the lug nut area and then a dog dish hubcap snapped over the clips on the plate. I've also seen just clips screwed onto the wheel and then the hubcaps push over. Other then those modifications you can't put any dog dish hub caps on GM truck rallies.

Re: My Christmas in Aug. Wheels!!
Got 'em. Picked them up tonite.
4 4x4 rally wheels with rings and (ugly) caps, and 4 white stock rims. A couple of questions: Is there a way to remove old tires off the rims without going to a garage with a tire machine? And, a will full hubcap fit on the rally rim? I'm thinking the stockers should be 6" wide and rally's are 8". I would like to run the stockers up front and the rallys in the rear, all with a vintage hubcap.
