350 to 454 swap
Ok so Im taking my 350 out of my 83 long bed and shoveling in a 502 and was curious as to the driveshaft situation and tranny crossmember. Ive heard there differences that I need to address and just not certain I am having a professional perform the transplant but want to stay a step ahead to keep from holding him up. Any thoughts? or recommendations?

Re: 350 to 454 swap
Just bolt it in. Tranny and driveshaft will remain the same. You'll need to rework your exhaust but that's about it.

Re: 350 to 454 swap
I swaped a 305 to a 454 ,it just dropped in. already had a 700r. All the front parts(ac/ps/pb/alt/ needed new brackets as the bolt different place on the 454.

Re: 350 to 454 swap
You might wanna beef up the rest of the driveline like the trans and if you have a 10 bolt go a 12 bolt or bigger.
