Angry fuel or air problem

details - I have a 1988 350 with a 1974 q-Jet carb, the carb is almost two years old and my electric fuel pump is one year old. My problem is when I get the truck up to operating temperature it acts like it's not getting fuel and shuts off (the pump is a Mr.Gasket 12S pump - two yrs. old). I do have a psi gauge on the fuel line and it reads 7psi, so the pump should be good. The fuel line is not next to anything that gets hot, so it shouldn't vapor lock. I only have one vacuum line coming off the carb that goes to the distributor. After a minute or two it will start right back up, untill the problem starts again...has anyone had this problem and could anyone help with this problem?
