Rear axle swap??
Having a hard time trying to figure out what type of rear end to go with.... The truck will be used for racing everyone says a ford 9 inch. Good choice? I have thought of doing a rear disk conversion on my current axle just don't know if the axle will hold up to a built 350 motor. NEED ADVICE!!

Re: Rear axle swap??
I've been running the original 8.5" ring gear 10 bolt rear axle in my Chevelle for 36 years. Mark Williams spool, axles and C clip eliminators. Welded tubes.
Current best is 9.85 @ 136 mph; approx 900 HP naturally aspirated at 3900 lbs. You'll be fine. K
