Re: MAD Enterprises
I have not used them, but have seen a few guys that have, and had good things to say. They sure do have a nice website with lots of good info.

Re: MAD Enterprises
I know that it is cheaper to assemble the parts, but I live in the country and like the idea of getting everything I need in kit form. Saves me lots in gas running to town if I forget something.

Re: MAD Enterprises
I've used them for charging systems, relay kits, and something else too but forget. I really like them. Their site is loaded with information which helps us on projects and them move their products which i find to be pretty fair priced.

You will be amazed and impressed with Mark Hamilton at MAD. He is THE MOST helpful guy I have ever dealt with. His kits are the best and his knowledge is nearly unlimited. You won't go wrong with MAD !!!

Re: MAD Enterprises
Mark is a electrical genius,he's very helpful and his kits are well put together. I know that he had stopped producing his start'em up kits due to a quality issue in the solenoids he was recieving, not certain if he started selling them again. If you are trying to get a hold of him, be patient and you will get through.

Re: MAD Enterprises
Their suggested wiring improvements are fantastic on these old trucks. Much brighter headlights and better charging. I also used the info to swap (correctly!) to an internal regulator alternator.

Re: MAD Enterprises
....so I got hold of Mark after 28 tries, LoL. He is an awesome guy to talk to, I was on the phone with him for 1hr 27 minutes ! He is fixing me up with his "new system", to properly wire up my headlights, alt. conversion, and to wire up my electronic ignition, plus some extra manuals and parts for future upgrades.

Re: MAD Enterprises
Yes they are. When u talk to him he ask a lot of questions about how your truck is equipped and what u plan on doing to it. But be aware, the prices on his web site are old, the new prices are of course higher, but IMO well worth it.
