Re: Anyone have any info or know the member of this truck?
through the power of mild internet stalking...
...dunno who's it is member wise, but it has been posted in at least two other threads in here... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=587236 post 13 -- http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=547703 post 12 -- this looks like their flickr photo account : https://secure.flickr.com/photos/29180694@N04/ or at least, it has several different photos of the truck in there... ---- I sent 'em a message through flickr with the URL here... if they are a member here, maybe they will chime in. -W |

Re: Anyone have any info or know the member of this truck?
My truck is basically stock in the front end, with short tires. If you look at the gap over the front tire, it’s within an inch or two of what you’re looking for. If I lowered the rear end about 5” it would be very close to what you want. As mentioned above the truck in the photo doesn’t have an engine in it. Raising it that high tops out the suspension. It will compress but has no extension travel available. It would ride like a buckboard and be very uncomfortable and probably hard to control.

Like I posted in your other thread. do the drop in the back and ad the correct period wheels and you will be very close to the pick. Mine looked close to that when the springs got changed in the truck. We did the back first. When we dropped it off the stands to do the front that is about what it looked like. That was with 4" springs.
