A/C Water pump pulley

I've been converting my non-A/C cab over to a stock A/C system.
I have a question about the pulley on the water pump.

Is there supposed to be a 3rd pulley in the front for the new belt?...This belt goes from crank, to power steering, to A/C compressor....the way the belts are aligned, it misses the water pump pulley by 1/4" or so, but it seems to me there should be another pulley there to guide the belt.

When I did my A/C, I used a 3 groove water pump pulley from an oldsmobile. Everything lined up great.
