700 r4 and brakes grabbing
My 700 R4 in my '65 is doing well but noticing now when reverse the brakes seem to grab, is this the t.v. cable adjustment adjustment?
Any advice is welcomed..don't want to ruin it. '70GMCStep |

Re: 700 r4 and brakes grabbing
are you saying your back brakes are locking up?
If so then you might need to adjust your brakes not the TV cable |

Re: 700 r4 and brakes grabbing
I'll have to check...maybe I was focusing on wrong thing. Probably pretty obvious which but not sure.
Noticed when pulling into work. Was hoping it was not fairly new rebuilt tranny. ...no brake grab in forward, just backward. '70GMCStep |

Re: 700 r4 and brakes grabbing
Sounds like you have a brake issue. Time to jack it up and see if you have a wheel dragging. May have a spring broke on one of the brake shoes.
