Speed warning internal gears
In my ongoing quest to make a perfect speed warning speedo, I hit a snag when I popped the faceplate off (the two little screws on the front). With the plate came about 4 little plastic gears and bushings that, since I didn't expect them, I didn't see the order of.
Maybe I'll get lucky and figure it out from first principles, but if anyone has a diagram or photo of what's going on right behind that faceplate that'd sure help. A long shot, I know. Thanks! Dave

Re: Speed warning internal gears
hope this helps you. the purple spots in the middle of the bushings are the plastic screws that broke off in the thread. yours shouldn't be. the grounding strap should also be under the right bushing which is not in the picture.

Re: Speed warning internal gears
Be very careful with the two non-plastic (carbon fiber?) gears. They break if you look at them sideways.
