Not mine

This is not mine, I wonder how they came up with the price. The only thing I can see that it has going for it is that it's a SWB

Re: LOL @ the price! Not mine!

If it is what the guy says it is then that's not an outrageous price, I wouldn't pay 7k for it I would offer him $6200 which he would probably take and that's a nice truck for that much money.

Re: LOL @ the price! Not mine!

Wow, really? I can't seem to get a grip on the value of these trucks. Some people always value them high and others always value them low. You can't go off blue book, and you can't really go off what people price them at cuz their prices are all over the place. $7k wouldn't seem too high to me last year not knowing much about these trucks, but after owning one for 6 months and spending hours a day on this site....I am really confused on the value of these trucks now. I only paid a little more than what he's asking for this truck for mine and mine looks a million times better and is better optioned and more original. Idk

Re: LOL @ the price! Not mine!

Shortbeds bring the money right or wrong.
If it runs and drives well enough to be a daily driver then it's in pretty good mechanical condition plus if it truly is rust free then that's worth all the money right there.
Like I said if it is what the guy claims it is then it's not that hard to imagine.

It can't be all stock if it's a '72.... it has a 69-70 grille, 67-69 mirrors, etc....

Re: LOL @ the price! Not mine!

It's the old LonghornMan syndrome. As Andy used to say the poor guy's wife has been on him to get rid of that old piece of crap sitting in the shed. Finally he agreed. So now it's on craigslist at a price that would make him feel good about getting, and at the same time if it doesn't sell he can tell the wife that no one is biting, but gosh darn it he's trying!

Listed as a 72, he calls it a 70. The primer, to me, means it not unmolested....and it has Furd wheel covers to boot

Re: LOL @ the price! Not mine!

Regardless that he listed it the wrong year ...
If it's as clean as claimed, not a bad deal indeed.
Short beds are pricey and good sheet metal seals the deal.

Lets avoid turning this into a Bash-fest and
give the truck the benefit of the doubt.
