Paint code question

I have a 67 C10 LWB. The spid shows a paint code of 4545AD... Anyone know what this original color was named or a cross referenced number? Thanks!

Re: Paint code question

Thanks Hutch! Wow... What an awesome color. My truck was repainted red several years ago ( very poorly )... Interestingly, the interior doors, dash, etc., resembles more of an orange tone. I like this vermillion/white combo so much, I think this will be my choice to go with. Thank you again!

Re: Paint code question

Now that's pretty sharp for a slant nose!

You know it's almost hard to pick a color combo that gm did in this vintage that I don't like! From the cool greens the oranges and yellows lots of awesomeness

Re: Paint code question

I agree Nits... This "Vermillion Red" with the White is a home run.

Re: Paint code question

Yeah I absolutely don't do maroon or burgundy but this walks the line and has some awesome depth and rich color.

The code 545 describes a 515 Vermillion Poly (metallic used in 67-68) body with a 526 Ivory (Off-White) roof. Convention has it that 67s used a drip rails up and back as the paint break but there are exceptions out there with painted pillars and upper doors.
Depending on your trim code the interior may have been painted 514 red as in 67 the interior was painted in one of several specific colors matched to the trim and not the exterior color.
