CalTrac preload help required.
I am wondering if my preload adjustment problem is because my leaf springs are new. I set the preload so I can just barely turn the pin contacting the leaf. Then when I go for a 20 minute drive, I check the caltrac again and have about 1/8 to 3/16" between the pin and the spring. I have done this twice in the last week.
Any ideas? Just my springs breaking in?? Racing tomorrow AM. Hoping to sneak in to the 11's!
