Quick Power Steering and Hydroboost Question
Quick, probably stupid question.
Yesterday I pulled a power box, hydroboost, and power steering pump from an 81 1ton dually. I pulled it complete all the way from the pedal pushrod, pitman arm, PS brackets etc. I didn't unhook any lines, literally took it all as 1 big unit. Is it OK to break it all down for storage until I can install it? Or will I have issues bleeding the system once its installed? Also, can anyone recommend a brake master to use this hydroboost with the stock drum brakes on a 61 Panel? Thanks! |

Re: Quick Power Steering and Hydroboost Question
You shouldn't have any issues after you dis-assemble the system. For your drum/drum brake system you will have to use a master for a '70 Buick Estate wagon. That should have the shallow bore piston you will need with the hydroboost.
