vacuum lines

is there a pic or diagram on here for vacuum lines? have 68, 327 and quad. Thanks Gary

Hi Gary,

Basically, the only vacuum lines would be a large line to the brake booster if you have one, a small line to the vacuum advance on the distributor, and a small line to the modulator on the trans if it is an automatic. The line for the vacuum advance connects to a fitting on the front of the QJet, drivers side. The Brake booster and trans modulator lines connect to a fitting in the intake manifold, behind the carb. Sorry I don't have any pictures of them on the computer.

I've been searching for a vacuum diagram also. cant afford the $$$ for the CD manual/diagram. I've also searched the forum as well and have had no luck. The post from LokDoc definitely helps, but mine has A/C, and all of my vac lines are broken and crumbling at the touch. I've already purchased a new silicone hose kt with 4 diff errant sizes in it. I also need the diagram for my wipers as they are broken up also. 21 years in a Virginia barn, (although sitting) still takes it's toll!

I too am searching for the same diagram. I can't seem to bring myself to fork out the $$$ for the CDrom. LokDoc, your post definitely helps, for some of the lines. Mine has A/C though. The A/C vac lines and the wiper lines also are broken, cracked and crumbling in my hands. I've already purchased a universal silicone hose kit with 5 different sizes in it. Any more info would be a great help. My truck was stored in a Shenandoah Virginia barn for 21 years, although sitting, it still takes its toll. esp. on anything rubber! Thanks CherokeeJohn
