74-76 front harness routing

Someone please refresh my memory is it possible on the 74 custom deluxe model that the front wiring harness goes along the bottom of the radiator support?

I know my 74 runs across the top of the radiator.

My 78 runs across the top of the radiator also. If you want to run it under you will most likey have to lengthen the wires to the passenger side headlight.

And the chassis grounds are in different spots. You can run them underneath if you mimic the 81-87 style harness-but, keep in mind the low beams are wired in series, high beams are parallel.

Re: 74-76 front harness routing

thank you for the replies.. Im putting a truck together from pieces. The cab is a 74 as is the chassis. the radiator support is out of a 78 or 79. I finally found the right wiring harnesses. Apparently the front harness is different for the 76 custom deluxe 3 speed and a 74. the headlights are wired shorter. Once I figured out that I had the right harness and all it kinda fell together. I will post some pics on my build thread
