68+ Step Side Owners I Have a Tire Question
Yes, yet another wheel tire question. I have reviewed and looked at every possible picture, comment, note, anything I could find for weeks now about tire sizes that will fit under a step side. My eyes are bleeding.
Using a 20x10 Boss Wheel, 5inch BS. Will a 295 45 20 fit? Or is a 275 best we can do? Minor modification are ok. Truck has minor drop if any at all. THANKS! In advance! tt |

FWIW Here is side and rear view of 18 inch wheels with a 275 on rear. Using 1.25 adapters to fit wheels. |

Re: 68+ Step Side Owners I Have a Tire Question
How close are you to rubbing the inside part of the bed right now? A 275 is 10.82" wide and a 295 is 11.62" wide. So take the 3/4" difference divide by 2 is 3/8", and look to see if that will work without rubbing. I would only be worried about the tire width, not about going from 18" to 20" on that drop.
I did my stepside a little different but I wanted a tire and wheel combo that would work with a static drop or bagged. So I wanted to stay inside the rear fenders. I'm running a 20x8.5 / 22x9 combo with 265/40/22 rear tire with a 7" drop. I hope some of this may help.
