1978 C10 Tash Options
Hi,
I've got a 1978 C10 that has the jumbo gas gauge and an empty space in the lower left. I'd like to put a tach in without doing too much damage to the housing and being as plug-and-play as possible. Have any of you installed that tach from GM Sports? If so, is it plug-and-play? In a perfect world, I'd like to have the fuel gauge in the lower left and the tach taking over the jumbo fuel gauge. I've read through a lot of the posts on this and it seems that if you go this route, you have to a) find an OEM tach somewhere and b) hack up the box to get it to fit. Is this right? Last note... I have read a ton of posts on this but have not found conclusive info on the GM Sports product Thanks. |

There is a company that makes a tach/gas guage but it is on my comp at home. It is going to be my gift to myself when I clean up a deluxe guage pack.

Yes they had a thread where it works good.
The lower left is occupied by a clock. HD trucks have a has guage there, but they are hard to find. That is why I am going to fix up one of my clock guage packs. |
