who has shipped a gauge cluster

Looking for someone who may know the size of box needed and what the weight is to ship a gauge cluster.

I tried guessing the size and weight and usps said it'd be $70 rounded up to ship it where it may be going. I don't think that's right.

I shipped one in November from Ky to Colorado at USPS for $15.07 and the weight was 7 lbs. ( still have the receipt). Not sure of the box size, I got it when I bought my tach dash from member Tbone1964 and used that box when I sold my old one. Yes $70 is too way much, good luck.

Re: who has shipped a gauge cluster

Thanks. I guessed the correct weight. I may be shipping my cluster from Id to SC. I thought it would at least be around $25

Re: who has shipped a gauge cluster

I used to go to LOWES and buy there 24 x 18 x 18 and cut them down, it is hard to find the correct size box, they worked great for me and they averaged adout 15 -25 dollars to ship depending on where it was going.

Re: who has shipped a gauge cluster

With those dimensions, it still comes out to $70. I had to click on large box and enter the dimensions
