Hey there gents...new to the forum and here's my new to me 1973 stepside with a 383 stroker.



Been thinking about the system I want but have been out of audio for quite some time.

That said, wondering what people are running that hits really hard. I'm thinking about
2 subs behind the seat
2 smaller subs under the seat
2 amps / crossover under the seat
2- 6x9's in the doors (doors already cut)
2--some kind in the dash some where.

I have no preference for brands so would like to duplicate what some other members are doing that already know what works very well. Don't have a particular budget but this is a daily driver and not looking to win sound competitions.

Any chance you could post up what you guys are running similar to above as the plethora of choices have me frankly bewildered. As far as the subs go I'd prefer to go with something store bought but can make enclosures if there are any write ups on proper sizing.

As far as head units go, I will save that for another thread as I want to mainly control by an ipad and not sure if I should go with a head unit or a blue tooth only controller.

Anyway, I hope this is read as it doesn't seem to be read a lot by the members but might help others as well as me.

looking forward to posting more and any and all thoughts welcome.
