need help speedometer drive gear setup
what i have is a '69 gmc p/u 3/4ton 4x4 w/sm465/221 t/c. i need to swap out the 4:56 gears and want to go with 3:54 gears. i went and bought what i thought were correct parts and they are not. #3866919, 3866742 plus a reducer marked 1.3000 j (stewart-warner) round gear has 7 teeth, and longer gear has 22 teeth. what i pulled out (longer gear) has 12 teeth. 3866919 is much larger than what i have on top pic.does any one know what i need to correct my problem?
