What Size Are These Bolts?
Im bolting things back onto my truck and could have sworn these two bolts on my C20's engine xmember were 7/16-14
But they are not threading, am I mistaken and these are fine threads, not course? The two bolts above these have holes that are not threaded, but these bolts go into holes that are threaded (the xmemer, not frame). Thanks everyone

Re: What Size Are These Bolts?
You could try a fine thread to see if it works or you could try a thread gauge, I think that is what they are called. It has all different size threads on it to pick the right size.
Also the threads could have some paint in them and just need a tap to run thru them to clean them up. |

Re: What Size Are These Bolts?
Hey Jason, I do not recall what length I did buy on those, but 1-1.5 inches should be perfect length. Mine were indeed 7/16-14. Mine is a half ton but I cant imagine they would change the thread pitch just because yours is a C20. 65 C20 makes a good suggestion of running a tap through the threads. Try running the bolt from outside the frame and then inside to see if the bolt goes in.
