Shock absorber question???

I know it has been asked a thousand times. I have been searching this forum and Summit website for hours today. looking for new shocks. not necessarily the cheapest but not the most expensive. I have a 1970 swb with 5 lug conversion. 2 1/2 in. drop spindles in front and 4in. drop springs in rear. truck rides rough and just plain sloppy. shocks look 50 years old. any ideas on what brand to buy and where to buy them? HELP

Re: Shock absorber question???

Research the kyb part #s. You can get the set of 4 from rockatuo for $100 shipped. Ece raises the price significantly.

Re: Shock absorber question???

I have Bilsteins on mine and like them. Great shocks, but not the cheapest.

Re: Shock absorber question???

You lowered the rear 4" you may need relocation brackets, keep the shocks upright and help them do there job.
