Location of back-up light switch
I have a '68 C2500 with a 4-speed granny. Back-up lights do not work so assume the switch is bad. I've cleaned up the sockets and replaced the bulbs. Is the switch on top of the transmission? Can I get to it from underneath? Any suggestions of where to buy a new switch?
Thank you. |

Re: Location of back-up light switch
Reverse switch on SM465 tranny is located on top cover. You might be able to reach it from underside, but definitely reach it if you remove your tunnel cover. I'm sure others will give a better answer about underside reach.

Re: Location of back-up light switch
Thanks. I've got the rubber floor covering. Is that normally glued in? I'll have to take that up to get to the tunnel cover and don't want to ruin it.
Any suggestions on where to buy a new switch? Thanks |
