I do hope you get it, has to be one of the nicest stockers around! Just need a set of chrome hubcaps to really complete it!

Re: 1972 K20 Cheyenne Super in CT

You are correct Joe - I WOULD love it. I saw this one posted in another thread a little while back - thought the SPID was on there - an original bucket truck, if I recall. Now if it were a Custom Camper to boot... Awwww. You know me and custom campers.

Buy it!! From the pics provided that looks like an excellent truck. It's a great compliment to Redbaron's current build btw.

Undoubtedly there will be all kinds of gals clamoring for a ride in the passenger seat - just have one of them fan you while driving

Re: 1972 K20 Cheyenne Super in CT

What is the 'B81 Floor Board' option ??

Also wonder why the SPID doesn't note the interior color.

I agree that is one nice truck.

Re: 1972 K20 Cheyenne Super in CT

Floor board means it has a wood floor. Steel floor would have been standard

That is interesting - wonder if it's known that occasional errors would appear on SPIDs from Baltimore. I'm also used to seeing an asterisk next to the turbo hydra-matic* A check of other 72 Baltimore SPIDs on the SPID thread may show similar?

Re: 1972 K20 Cheyenne Super in CT

Story goes that it was purchased in 1992 at Carlisle PA from a renowned chevy
Truck restoration shop out off Tennessee. Guy has only driven it less than 500 miles since then

COULD THIS BE A REPRODUCED. SPID ??? JUST ASKING never know

x2 - I can believe a worker in Baltimore would drop the interior color but doubt a repro SPID would slip by a builder without interior color listed. Does the seller have a build sheet by chance?

I offered $18k months ago and he was stuck on $19k. I'll bet $17k gets it done. FYI, there is a kink in the bed-side (driver side) just above the upper trim. Great truck.
