AC Blower resistor I haven't seen before

Hello: 71 blazer with AC. Fan only works on one speed. Have replaced blower motor. resistor by the kick panel. Resistor in the box with the springs on it. has been replaced. Reason I replaced it was I would hear a clicking noise when I would move the switch. Have a new switch no difference. Someone suggested running a ground from the resistor on the kick panel which I will try tomorrow. Under the dash next to the cigarette lighter is a resistor that looks similar to the one on the kick panel but has one less wire. 2 of the wires from the kick panel one go to it. Anyone know what that one is
Thanks
