Blazer buckets

Does anyone know if these will fit in a 72 Chevrolet blazer I seen them on craigslist and I may try to pick them up if they're still available when I get back in town.

Re: Blazer buckets

As I understand it
69-75 bucket seat frames are the same
69-70 uses different foams and covers
71-75 seat foams are the same, with covers changing in 73
69-72 tracks are interchangable if not the same
73 up tracks are square body specific.

After further investigation I have discovered that the 73-up bottom piece of the frame is slightly different, and will angle the seat further back than original even when using 69-72 brackets. If you have a blazer it's not really a problem, but in a truck the seat will hit the back of the cab unless you slide it further forward...but that obviously steals leg room.

Other than that I think the info you posted is spot on.

Re: Blazer buckets

Like leddzepp is pointing out there is a difference in the 73 up frames that changes the installed angle. My understanding was that was totally in the sliders but apparently not. Take heed of Scott's observation.
