We did not have any surfers here in the midwest,, not too many hippies either. They were kind of like Bigfoot, you heard about them but no one saw them.

Ok guys I am going to tell you a little secret about these pedals that I found out when I sold one that I did not know. Most of these where made by Cal customs and the ones that are made in Japan are the older ones and are kind of valuable. The later ones were mostly made in Taiwan. They also make a dimmer pedal to match.

So how do you tell the difference this one doesn't have a "Made in" anywhere. LOL would love to find a dimmer pedal never saw one before.

I have both gas and dimmer hippie foot pedal that I took out of my 67. I guess I need to dig them out of the scrap pile. I threw them out because I didn't think anybody would want them. Boy was I ever wrong! Lol
