Who makes a quiet yet small muffler?

I have a bagged LWB 71 with a 350 motor in it with headers. I'm in the process of redoing some things like my rear suspension and converting from a LWB to a SWB truck. Space will now be very limited in the rear of my truck due to having to mount air tanks and compressors.
Because of this, I need suggestions for a quiet yet very small (length & width) muffler that I can mount in the area under the cab.
Again, I'm looking for something small and quite that'll not wake up the neighbors.
Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

Re: Who makes a quiet yet small muffler?

Small and quiet pretty much mutually exclusive... The smallest I've found are the Jones Turbo Tubes. Look and install like glasspacks but Turbo muffler style.

I have a set on my '79 CJ-5 mounted underneath the doors with fenderwell headers. I have about a 6" tailpipe, but they are reasonably quiet until you get on it. If you run any tailpipe that should help a bunch.

Can you not mount under the doors?
I don't like it, but it's an option.

Or how about an import muffler? lol

Any other suggestion for a small and not so loud muffler?
