Nice looking truck except that it looks like a dog with its tail between its legs.

The OP's truck is a '63, the inner roof repair panel is listed for '64-66's. I know the shape of the windshield is different, is the inner roof different?

the center piece that is in between the windshield pillars I think is the same.
I have not tried to use that patch panel. but the several 60-63, and 64-66 roofs that I have cut up were the same upon visual inspection.
as far as I can tell the front panel, roof skin, and headliner panel all interchange, it is just the posts and their inner support pieces that are different.

I am curious as to why that patch panel is listed 64-66 only, I wish they included a reason, because from what I can tell they should all be the same...

Here's a couple of pictures of the inner repair piece in question. I'm sure that if the ends of it at the windshield side are different, they can be trimmed and the rest should work nicely.

Hope that helps.

I looked at some of my trucks, and the corners are definitely different, but as mentioned, there should be enough patch panel to do your repair
as you fix this inner piece, you will probably find that the outer piece, while it looks good on the outside, is probably shot as well, so you might need both the inner and outer patch panels,,, another thought is to source rust free roof, and just replace the whole thing...

I had a truck with rust in that same spot, -I think the common culprit in these trucks in this area is a mouse nest- after I got the roof skin off, all three pieces turned out to be rusted through, inner outer , and roof skin!

if you do not replace the whole roof I suggest removing the roof skin, so you can get good access to the repair.

these shots are off the roof I didn't use on the truck I chopped.

Re: Cancer

Hey guys. That upper windshield to roof repair piece Jeremy shows. Is that a common part available for 64-66? I've only seen it listed for 60-63.

Re: Cancer

The piece I pictured is the inner roof. Listed for 64-66. The outer piece is usually listed as 60-63 but it fits on my 65.
