1969 3/4 ton axles, Dana and Eaton

I pulling a set of 1969 3/4 ton front (dana 44) and rear (ho52) axles to swap in later model axles. Im hoping someone in cali will want one or both. They are in good condition, have 4.56 gears and drum brakes.

If you are interested let me know. I'll let them go cheap, $100 each OBO.

The rear is an Eaton HO52/72. I haven't pulled it out yet.

Re: 1969 3/4 ton axles, Dana and Eaton

I can take pics. The axles are from a 1969 3/4 ton pickup. Front is a dana 44 and rear is an eaton ho52. Both have drum brakes. Both have 4.56 gears. Both are in good shape with no major leaks.

Any interest? Anyone?
If not these might be destined for the metal scrapper. I don't have room to store these for too long.

Re: 1969 3/4 ton axles, Dana and Eaton

I have already pulled the front out. The rear is still under the suburban until I pull it or someone wants it. I can pull it in a couple hours.

Re: 1969 3/4 ton axles, Dana and Eaton

I would do it but I think it would be pretty expensive. They'd have to be on a skid and go freight. Its probably 800lbs total for both. If you really want that I could make a couple calls. You probably also need a business address with a dock to receive it.

Re: 1969 3/4 ton axles, Dana and Eaton

I have pulled the HO52. So both axles are ready to go. If no one wants the whole axles then i'm happy to part out whats valuable.

i know evan396 is interested in the drums. I'll pull the cover next weekend and check for posi unit.

I might be interested in the hubs if they will fit my truck. I need to pull my wheels and check it out. Its a 69 c30 1 ton with the ho52/72 dual wheels.

Re: 1969 3/4 ton axles, Dana and Eaton

Okay guys, sorry it has been taking so long. I finally disassembled the ho52 last night. Evrything looks rrally clean. So far I have:

Evan396 - Drums
1968k20 - Axle shafts, Open 3rd member with 4.56 gears

The drums are still attached to the hubs, unless I can find a way to press all the studs out.

Do any of you have a recommendation or preferred method of shipment? This stuff isn't light.
