My new project
Just picked this up on Sunday. Plans include 383/700r and drive it for the summer then bodywork. It has some frame issues about 18" from the rear frame end. Anyone ever seen welding in this area?

Does it look normal at middle of the frame?

Re: My new project
The rest of the frame is normal. Not cut or welded where a conversion would have been made. Just the last 18". There is a steel plate or a tractor weight hooked to the brace toward the rear. Other then that, everything normal.

Re: My new project
Well a little frame repair or "customization" wouldn't scare me away from that truck either.
